After the blockbuster trade that sent defenseman Erik Karlsson to the Pittsburgh Penguins, GM Mike Grier is continuing to work the phones to shed some more salary.
The latest NHL trade rumors for the San Jose Sharks have the team sending forward Kevin Labanc to the Vancouver Canucks.
Will the Vancouver Canucks make a trade for Kevin Lebanc?
Max Miller of The Hockey News reports that Kevin Labanc becoming an unrestricted free agent and the willingness of the San Jose Sharks to eat some of Labanc’s salary, make him a tradeable asset.
NHL trade rumors made the rounds back in July that the Vancouver Canucks would take Labanc and send Tyler Myers back to the Sharks.
With Myers due a $5 million bonus on September 1, a trade could come Labour Day weekend for Labanc with Myers finally heading to San Jose.
How the heck is that tall pylon getting a bonus?
This guy is the worst defenseman ever
Myers’s this Myers that, it is all BS, as i have said before, who carried the load of time on the ice. The coach knows who he can rely on!
Myers is a liability. He plays well when he wants to, shows flashes of greatness one minute and gives the puck away the next. He makes poor decisions in his own zone as well and has been caught up ice more than a few times. Lose Myers and you gain automatically.
Keep Myers at least until bear can be signed and is ready to play. He will be worth more at the TDL as a rental depth.
I think Vancouver should do anything they can to loose Myers
almost anybody would be an upgrade from a soft Myers .
