According to the Winnipeg Free Press – Winnipeg Jets defenseman Paul Postma has been coming up in trade talks.
Postma is a top 4 Defenceman and the Jets already have Dustin Byfuglien, Toby Enstrom and Zach Bogosian along the blueline.
The Jets would likely look for equal value in a forward that is ready to play now. They are not interested in prospects.
Posta was selected by Atlanta Thrashers in round 7 #205 overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He currently has 5 points in 12 games.
