Multiple sources have said that Buffalo Sabres forward Drew Stafford would welcome a change of scenery.
Stafford has two years left at $4 million a year. The Detroit Red Wings, LA Kings, Vancouver Canucks and Dallas Stars are said to be looking for a 2nd line winger.
Stafford had 18 points in 46 games. He had an off year on a bad Sabre team. Most scouts think a change of scenery is what he needs.
Stafford can be traded for a 3rd round pick. The Sabres would love to trade his 4 million / year contract.
