Ivan Provorov trade
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov is on the trade block. He needs a change of scenery to get his career back on track.

Everyone knew the Philadelphia Flyers would not be a playoff team this year and with this coming NHL draft being the Connor Bedard show, the Flyers will be all-in on tank nation.

The Flyers currently hold the 8th spot in the draft selection, so they will have some work to do if they want a shot at drafting #1 overall. Flyers management have let teams know that Ivan Provorov is available for trade.

Vegas and Winnipeg interested in an Ivan Provorov trade?

Elliotte Friedman was on his 32 Thoughts Podcast with Jeff Marek and discussed Ivan Provorov. Friedman stated he has heard Provorov’s name floating around the league and feels that it just hasn’t worked out for him for whatever reason in Philadelphia.

Marek chimed in saying the Vegas Golden Knights could be a possibility if they can make the salary cap work. He also thinks the Winnipeg Jets would be a great fit with Rick Bowness as the head coach. They have a history together. Bowness helped make Miro Heiskanen the defenseman he is today.

Either way, Provorov needs a change of scenery and if Flyers management get what they want, he will be moved.
