With securing the cellar dweller position, the Habs now have a 18.5 per cent chance of selecting first overall in July’s NHL Entry Draft and can fall no further than to the third overall selection.
The Yotes have secured the 2nd worst record and will have a 13.5% chance of winning the draft lottery.
Montreal is the host of this years draft lottery and Shane Wright is predicted to be selected #1 overall on draft night.
