The Winnipeg Jets have signed newly acquired forward Gabe Vilardi to a two-year contract worth $6.875 million.
Vilardi, 23, was part of the trade that sent disgruntled Winnipeg Jets forward Pierre-Luc Dubois to the LA Kings last month. His contract does not include a no-trade clause and his qualifying offer on his next contract in 2025-26 will be $3.6 million.
Vilardi was drafted 11th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1st round of the 2017 NHL entry draft. Currently over a career that spans 4 seasons, he has a total 78 points in 152 games played, and 4 playoffs points in 7 games played.
