The Florida Panthers had a surprising Stanley Cup playoff run after almost missing out on the playoffs thanks to a Pittsburgh Penguins loss to the dreadful Chicago Blackhawks in the Pens second-last game of the season.
The Panthers are done making free agent signings and trades this offseason but once free agent Patrick Kane is healthy, will the Panthers convince Kane to sign with the team?
Florida Panthers will target Patrick Kane
George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports the Florida Panthers will have an interest in signing free agent Patrick Kane when he is healthy to play by mid-December.
Richards went on to say in his piece that if Kane sees a fit with the Panthers, the team will find a way to fit him into the salary cap. The Panthers will likely be all-in this year as they are possibly set to lose some significant free agents in Sam Reinhart and Brandon Montour next off-season.
