Elliotte Friedman was on Hockey Night in Canada and reports the Edmonton Oilers are one of a handful of teams interested in Nick Bjugstad of the Arizona Coyotes.

Bjugstad is having an excellent season for a bad Coyotes team where he has put up 21 points (11g, 10a) in 50 games to go along with a solid +7 rating. He is on an expiring contract with a $900K Coyotes salary cap hit.

Bjugstad, 30, who stands 6’6″ and weighs in at 215lbs was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the first round, 19th overall in the 2010 NHL entry draft.
