The hot topic in Toronto is the Leafs are looking at trading d-man Dion Phaneuf.
The Leafs have had issues on the back end and it seems Phaneuf is not working out in Toronto and many feel he would be great on a good team as the #2 defenseman.
Trade rumors are four teams from the Western Conference are interested in Phaneuf. The teams being the Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks and Colorado Avalanche.
It will be more than likely that Phaneuf will be starting the 2014 – 15 season with a new team, but a trade will take time.
