NHL insider Elliotte Friedman recently stated on his 32 Thoughts podcast that he wouldn’t be surprised if Fowler is traded this season. Friedman also mentioned that Fowler has indicated a willingness to talk to more teams than the four on his no-trade list.

Fowler is a respected veteran who has spent his entire 15-year career with the Ducks. He’s a smooth-skating, puck-moving defenseman who can quarterback a power play and log big minutes. There’s no doubt that there will be interest in him from contending teams looking to add a veteran presence to their blue line.
