The Vancouver Canucks have let it be known that have no interest in a tear down or rebuild. They would like to move out Brock Boeser and re-sign Bo Horvat.

Horvat maybe traded if they can’t agree on a contract extension by the NHL trade deadline. The Canucks are also open to moving out a few other players by the trade deadline.

What players are the Vancouver Canucks looking to trade?

Elliotte Friedman was on Hockey Night in Canada and confirmed the Vancouver Canucks are not interested in a rebuild or tear down but they are interested in changing their mix and breathing new life into the team.

The Canucks have let teams know there is one untouchable: Elias Pettersson.

Quinn Hughes available for a trade?

With Canucks management letting teams know everyone is available for a trade but Elias Pettersson, Friedman stated in his piece on HNIC that trading Quinn Hughes would take a mammoth offer and it’s not something they are looking into doing.

There are very few truly untouchable players in the league. Teams will trade almost anyone if the price is right. IMO if #Canucks have one, and only one, it should be Hughes over Pettersson. Despite EP’s great potential he’s yet to score over 68 points and has often been injured.

Another management group spinning the wheels. We’re stuck in purgatory with no end in sight.

Honestly think this is the right call. Tons of young talent. Just need the right mix/ chemistry
