Leafs interested in making a Tyler Bertuzzi trade
The Toronto Maple Leafs are going all-in this year and GM Kyle Dubas has interest in making a trade for Tyler Bertuzzi.

NHL Trade Update: Tyler Bertuzzi has been traded to the Boston Bruins

The Toronto Maple Leafs have made a lot of moves before the NHL trade deadline and many NHL analysts are reporting the Maple Leafs may not be done.

Many Leaf fans feel Toronto should target a backup goalie because Matt Murray cannot be relied upon but it appears the Leafs are looking for another forward with some grit to add to the lineup.

Will the Toronto Maple Leafs make a Tyler Bertuzzi trade?

Elliotte Friedman was on The Jeff Marek Show and stated you have to be crazy if you think Leafs GM Kyle Dubas is done making trades. Friedman feels the Leafs will NOT get a goalie and doesn’t think Alex Kerfoot is on the move.

Friedman finished his radio hit saying the one player Leafs management have liked for a long time is Tyler Bertuzzi. Friedman is not 100% certain a trade gets done, it will be a challenge for Dubas, but he’s a player the Maple Leafs like a lot.

What are Leafs fans saying about a Tyler Bertuzzi trade

Gotta respect him going all in. Dubas knows this is his last chance.

If Steve Yzerman is gonna trade Bert, it had better not be to anybody in the division. Aint no way!

With Samsonov as the starter and injury prone Murray as backup, I can’t see them not looking for another goalie. That is priority for this team now.
