It is looking like Tim Thomas cannot find a team to play for. Thomas is finding it hard to find a team that needs a goalie, that can afford him and a place that would make him happy.
The Flyers were interested but they decided on Ray Emery. The Islanders had some interest, but they could have tolled his contract. They re-signed Evgeni Nabokov and Kevin Poulin. The Flames have the cap space, but the rebuilding team will go with Karri Ramo and Joey MacDonald.
Thomas should have stayed with Boston and finished his career there. At his age and not playing for a few years makes it very tough for him to get signed somewhere.
