The Vancouver Canucks will not fire Bruce Beaudreau
NHL trade rumors for November 14, 2022 feature the Vancouver Canucks. They will not fire Bruce Boudreau and ride their struggles out.

The Vancouver Canucks continue to struggle with the team currently tied for the 4th worst record in the NHL.

Canucks management has come out and let it be known they will not make a coaching change. NHL trade rumors have circulated that the team could look to move Bo Horvat or Brock Boeser.

What changes will the Vancouver Canucks make?

Darren Dreger was on the TSN 1050 radio show and he was asked what changes could the Vancouver Canucks make.

Dreger believes a coaching change will not happen anytime soon. He feels if the Canucks are in tank nation mode, they will keep Boudreau until the NHL trade deadline and make a coaching change in March 2023.

With Thatcher Demko not playing the way he did when Bruce Boudreau was hired last year, the Canucks have displayed how poorly their defensive game is and that will have to be addressed at some point.

Are the Canucks in tank nation mode?

If the Canucks do not string together a four or five game winning streak starting now, you have to think they will be writing off the season.

American Thanksgiving is usually the telling point of where an NHL team is at and if they are playoff contenders or pretenders.

The Canucks will likely be pretenders and enter Tank Nation for their shot at winning the 2023 NHL draft lottery and selecting Connor Bedard #1 overall.
