The Ottawa Senators have signed defenceman Erik Brannstrom to a one-year deal, worth $900K.
Brannstrom, 23, had 14 assists in 53 games last season with the Senators. He is a puck moving defenseman with excellent skating skills and plays a pretty good defensive game, which will improve further with increased strength.
Brannstrom was drafted 15th overall by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 1st round of the 2017 NHL entry draft. He has a total 31 points in 116 games played.
