McTavish, the Anaheim Ducks’ young center, could be targeted via an offer sheet. It’s a bold move, but the Flyers’ draft assets give them the leverage to make it work. McTavish plays a strong two-way game and fits the mold of a future leader.

Offer sheeting McTavish or trading for a player like Pettersson would energize the fanbase and give the Flyers a legitimate top-six presence down the middle. But these moves come with risk—costing significant draft capital and possibly key prospects. Still, playing it safe won’t get Philadelphia to the playoffs. This is a summer where creativity and boldness could define the Flyers’ next era.
