What Could a Realistic Dylan Larkin Trade Cost?

The smarter strategy would be establishing a firm valuation and waiting. Larkin’s no-trade protection reduces the number of teams Detroit can negotiate with. If Philadelphia is eventually added to his list, that limited market could prevent the Red Wings from creating a league-wide bidding war.
My Take on the Dylan Larkin–Flyers Trade Rumor
I believe the Flyers should explore the opportunity, but only after receiving a clear indication that Larkin would welcome a move to Philadelphia. There is no value in negotiating against themselves for a player who may still prefer a more established Stanley Cup contender.
Larkin would fill an obvious roster need and could help Michkov take another offensive step. His contract is also manageable under the NHL’s rising salary cap. However, the Flyers cannot ignore the difference between becoming better and becoming a legitimate championship team.
