Phil Kessel has had a long successful career that has brought him two Stanley Cup championships and he hoping to get a third Stanley Cup with the Vegas Golden Knights this year.
Kessel is set to tie the NHL ironman streak tonight against his former team the Toronto Maple Leafs. If no injury happens tonight, Kessel will break the NHL record tomorrow night in San Jose.
If you want to watch the Vegas game on TV tomorrow night and see Phil Kessel break the ironman record, the game will be televised on ESPN/ESPN+ at 7:30pm PT.
“There were plenty of minor injuries. But I always just said, Screw it. I’ll go out there and play because I like to play. I’d rather be playing than sitting in the stands.”
