The Philadelphia Flyers have fired head coach Peter Laviolette and replaced him with assistant Craig Berube.
The Flyers are off to a 0-3 start this season and have scored just once in each of their three losses, including Sunday’s 2-1 setback to Carolina.
Laviolette was hired early in the 2009-10 season after John Stevens was fired and he led them to the 2010 Stanley Cup Final where the Flyers lost the Chicago Blackhawks.
