Pittsburgh Penguins President Brian Burke has confirmed on Hockey Night in Canada the team is looking for a forward with size and grit.

Last week NHL trade rumors were flying around that the Pittsburgh Penguins were looking to trade for a backup goalie. The Pens still might be looking for a backup goalie but their main focus looks to be a forward with size.

Pittsburgh Penguins President Brian Burke was on Hockey Night in Canada and he talked about the team interested in a forward with size and some grit.

Burke has always liked players with size and grit. He is currently happy with where the team is at considering they have played most of the season without Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.

Burke did mention the team has some salary cap issues to get ironed out, but once they are, he said, the team is open for business and will trade for a forward with size.
