The Buffalo Sabres are reportedly interested in signing free agent Patrick Kane, according to the latest NHL trade rumors.

Patrick Kane is currently undergoing rehab for hip surgery for another month. Despite this, NHL trade rumors have been circulating that he may sign with either the Toronto Maple Leafs or the Buffalo Sabres.

Kane, 34, finished last season with the New York Rangers, where he put up 57 points in 73 games and 6 playoff points in 7 games.

Darren Dreger was on TSN 1050 radio and discussed Patrick Kane’s free agency and which team he could sign with.

Dreger was asked if he’s interested in signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs since he’s been rehabbing in Toronto this summer.

Dreger stated in his radio hit that the Leafs are interested in Kane if they can make his salary work but the team with the most interest in signing Kane is the Buffalo Sabres.
