Clancy beats Mike Karakas on a penalty shot at 5:50 of the third period to break a 2-2 tie. The future Hall of Famer retires one week later.

1957: Ted Lindsay of the Blackhawks scores the 325th goal of his NHL career during a 5-2 loss to the Bruins at Boston Garden to become the No. 3 goal scorer in League history.
