Will the LA Kings trade Tyler Toffoli?

LA Kings looking to trade Tyler Toffoli

The Fourth Period: The LA Kings are exploring the trade market on right wing Tyler Toffoli.

Toffoli, 26, has one-year left on his contract after this season and comes with a $4.6 million salary cap hit.

It’s unclear whom the Kings are specifically speaking with when it comes to Toffoli’s availability, but one league source told TFP, the Montreal Canadiens could be interested.

GM Rob Blake is hoping to pull the trigger on at least one move significant move, having already made a change behind the bench, naming Willie Desjardin interim head coach and trading Tanner Pearson to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Is it time for the New York Islanders to trade Josh Ho-Sang?

Josh Ho-Sang has been given his chances but never impressed enough to stick around at the NHL level. Accounts point out he’s defensively irresponsible, but as a first-round pick drafted to provide premiere offense, why is that undebatably necessary for him? It’s a confusing situation, but there is one consensus appearing beneath the chatter; whether they’re mismanaging an asset, or dealing with a brat, the New York Islanders need to move on from Ho-Sang.

Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello can’t expect to salvage much out of a potential trade. However, with the upside Ho-Sang sports, the veteran manager can be expected to field plenty of calls. Here are five teams that could use Ho-Sang’s help, or at the very least offer the opportunity he’s looking for. The teams are the Minnesota Wild, Ottawa Senators, Vancouver Canucks, New York Rangers and Edmonton Oilers.
