TSN Radio: Darren Dreger was on the radio and believes Colorado Avalanche general manager Joe Sakic still seeks a young left-shot defenseman as part of the return for Matt Duchene. Dreger claims he’s still hearing rumblings the Columbus Blue Jackets being as likely as any team, knowing there are several keenly interested in Duchene. Dreger suggests defenseman Ryan Murray and winger Josh Anderson, who’s currently without a contract, as possible trade chips. Dreger and colleague Bob McKenzie reports of no progress in contract talks between the Jackets and Anderson.

TSN Radio 1050: Derren Dreger was on TSN 1050 talking about the Toronto Maple Leafs and if there could be any forwards on the move. “I’m not suggesting the Leafs are peddling, but I am looking at a team like Anaheim as an example. I know the Ducks would like to add a third-line forward. They’re aware, as all teams are, that Toronto seems to have an abundance. You never know; maybe there will be some talks.”
