Vegas Golden Knights looking to make some trades
TSN 1050: Darren Dreger was on Toronto radio and asked what the Vegas Golden Knights were going to do before the NHL entry draft. Dreger feels there is a deal between the Golden Knights and Chicago Blackhawks for Marcus Kruger. Dreger also speculates that the Golden Knights will make a trade for Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury.
Dallas Stars interested in Chris Tanev
TSN: The Dallas Stars reportedly have interest in Vancouver Canucks defenseman Chris Tanev. Moving him before the expansion draft would allow the Canucks to protect Luca Sbisa.
Dion Phaneuf asked to waive no-trade-clause
Sportsnet: Elliotte Friedman reports the word is the Ottawa Senators asked defenseman Dion Phaneuf to waive his no-movement clause in order to expose him in the upcoming expansion draft. Phaneuf has yet to decide if he’ll do so.
