The Hockey News : The Ottawa Senators have 3 calibre starting goalies in Andrew “The Hamburglar” Hammond, Craig Anderson, and Robin Lehner. One of them will be traded in the off-season so the Sens can acquire some defensive help. Anderson will be the goalie they most likely deal with the St. Louis Blues and Edmonton Oilers being possible destinations.

CSNNE.com: The Boston Bruins this off-season will be seeking players with greater offensive skill than the ones than they now have, and it’s possible they may find some trade partners. There’s a good chance the Edmonton Oilers will make Jordan Eberle or Taylor Hall available this summer. The Oilers need Milan Lucic’s type of toughness, size and snarl among their top six forwards.

The Fourth Period: The Carolina Hurricanes made Alexander Semin available, leading up to the NHL trade deadline, but were unable to move him, even though the team was willing to take on a “significant” portion of his salary. If the Hurricanes cannot trade Semin this off-season, it’s possible the Canes consider buying out the remainder of Semin’s contract.
