NBC Sports: Will former Nashville Predators forward Alexander Radulov return to the NHL?  Radulov’s agent claims his client has been contacted by the Colorado Avalanche. Radulov played his junior hockey under Patrick Roy with the Quebec Remparts. Radulov would like to return to the NHL in 2016-17 when his KHL contract expires.
Edmonton Journal: Jim Matheson speculates that the San Jose Sharks seems like a possible destination for Ottawa Senators goalie Robin Lehner. Matheson also thinks Chicago Blackhawks forwad Bryan Bickell will be traded and the Hawks can get a 2nd round draft pick for him. The Arizona Coyotes and New Jersey Devils could have interest in Bickell.
The Fourth Period: Washington Capitals forward Joel Ward is in need of a new contract, and while he can test the market free agent July 1, his preference is to re-sign in Washington. Ward is coming off a four-year, $12 million contract and is expected to get a raise on his next deal. The issue is can the Caps afford him?
