TSN Radio 1050: Darren Dreger was on TSN Radio 1050 this morning discussing the trade rumors of Toronto Maple Leafs forward Daniel Winnik going to the Winnipeg Jets for Alex Burmistrov. Dreger confirms the Jets and Leafs are discussing a trade and that Winnipeg is the likely destination for Winnik.
ESPN Boston: With the David Krejci knee injury, the Boston Bruins will be looking to fill the void. A short-term replacement would be Arizona’s Antoine Vermette as a trade target. The Bruins could also look at Winnipeg Jets winger Michael Frolik.
CSN Washington: Washington Capitals insider Chuck Gormley feels the Caps need to make a trade for a top-line right wing, second-line center and depth on the blue line. Potential trade targets are Jordan Eberle, Chris Stewart, Daniel Winnik, Marek Zidlicky and Jeff Petry.
