Joffrey Lupul trade rumors

Will the Toronto Maple Leafs trade Joffrey Lupul?

The Hockey News: Joffrey Lupul, who turns 33 in September, has two seasons left on his contract at an annual salary-cap hit of $5.25 million. He also carries a modified no-trade clause. The Leafs have three options with Lupul: they can ride out those remaining seasons, package Lupul in a trade, or try placing him on long-term injured reserve. The best option for the Leafs is to trade him to a club with lots of cap space and no notable restricted free agents to re-sign. The Carolina Hurricanes and New Jersey Devils are the most logical option for the Leafs. The question is, are those two teams on Lupul’s list he would be willing to be traded to?
