Nail Yakupov has no trade value right now
TSN 1260: Darren Dreger was on Edmonton’s sports radio station and stated there’s a weak trade market for Nail Yakupov. Dreger said Oilers GM Peter Chiarelli tried to move Yakupov leading up to last season’s NHL trade deadline and tried again at the NHL Entry Draft in June. He said the Oilers want a draft pick in return, adding they’re not seeking a first or second rounder.

TSN 1040: Darren Dreger was on the radio and reports one of the offers the Winnipeg Jets received this summer for disgruntled defenseman Jacob Trouba came from the Detroit Red Wings. He said that it involved two higher-level forwards, who Wings general manager Ken Holland wasn’t able or willing to move.
