TSN.ca: The Colorado Avalanche are letting teams know that forward Matt Duchene is available for trade. Colorado Avalanche GM Joe Sakic has had discussions with the Ottawa Senators about Duchene. If they Avalanche continue to slide look for a trade of Duchene sooner rather than later.
Teams continue to call the Montreal Canadiens about the availability of defenceman Jared Tinordi. He has been in the trade rumors mill for over a year and the Habs continue not to play him and not trade him. Something will have to give soon!
CSNBayarea.com: Patrick Marleau would accept being dealt to the Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings or New York Rangers. However, his age and $6.6 million annual cap hit through 2016-17 could hinder efforts to trade him.
