Edmonton Sun: Jim Matheson reports Edmonton Oilers GM Peter Chiarelli was recently spotted in Minnesota scouting a game between the Minnesota Wild and Tampa Bay Lightning. Matheson claims Chiarelli’s in the market for a third-line center and was looking at Brian Boyle of the Lightning. The Toronto Maple Leafs and Columbus Blue Jackets also have an interest in Boyle.

Elliotte Friedman also feels Duchene’s teammate Gabriel Landeskog could also be a good fit there.
