The New York Islanders had no intention of re-signing Matt Moulson.
Moulson and his reps were disappointed GM Garth Snow didn’t start contract extension talks over the summer and he wanted a trade.
Rumors going around are that the Buffalo Sabres are going to trade Moulson around the NHL Trade Deadline and hopefully get a 1st round pick for him.
