While Rossi is undoubtedly a talented player, his size (5’9″) and perceived inconsistency may be causing some concern within the Wild organization. Guerin has proven to be a shrewd GM, and if he believes moving Rossi is in the best interest of the team’s long-term success, he won’t hesitate to pull the trigger. It will be interesting to see which team, if any, is willing to meet Guerin’s asking price. The Flyers and Canadiens, both in need of offensive firepower, could be potential frontrunners.
