Jonas Hiller’s name has been floating around the trade rumor mill lately.
Hiller will be a UFA at the end of the season and with the Ducks having Viktor Fasth as their #1 goalie and John Gibson ready to be a #1 goalie for Anaheim, that leaves Hiller as the odd man out. The Ducks have no intention of re-signing Hiller and would like to trade him to free up some cap space.
The Edmonton Oilers and Ducks have had discussions about what it would take to get Hiller.
The Calgary Flames and Philadelphia Flyers also have interest in Hiller.
