Carolina Hurricanes GM Jim Rutherford has said that multiple teams are interested in moving into the top 5.
The Hurricanes have received several inquiries for the #5 pick. Rutherford said on The Team 1260 on that the Hurricanes would entertain offers for the 5th pick in hopes of landing a top-four defenseman.
The Vancouver Canucks, San Jose Sharks, New York Rangers and Winnipeg Jets are all interested in the Pick.
You have a wicked imagination about the value of Dustin Byfuglien…. He was good 2 years ago…. This past season he was awful in the defensive zone…… His offense dropped big time. You would be lucky to get just a 3rd rounder for Buff….. His contract is way to much for how low his production was…..The way he played this past season he may as well have played wing….. He may have had a better +/- thats about it…
