Carolina Hurricanes: Jay McClement has signed a one-year deal+ worth $1 million with the Carolina.
Defenceman Tim Gleason is re-joining the Carolina Hurricanes on a one-year, $1.2 million contract.
Dallas Stars: The Stars have signed forward Vernon Fiddler to a two-year, $2.5 million contract.
Winnipeg Jets: The Jets have signed goaltender Michael Hutchinson to a US$1.15-million, two-year contract.
Toronto Maple Leafs: The Leafs have signed forwards Mike Santorelli and Petri Kontiola to one-year contracts. Santorelli will make US$1.5 million & Kontiola will make $1.1 million.
New York Rangers: The Rangers agreed to terms with free-agent forward Nick Tarnasky.
