With the Chicago Blackhawks in a rebuild, NHL trade rumors are going around that Duncan Keith would liked to be traded to finish off his career with a Stanley Cup contender.

Keith will have two seasons left at $5.5 million. The Blackhawks might have to eat some his of salary for a trade to happen.

Keith might be worth the addition for a team trying to win the Cup within the next few years. There are three teams that might be willing to acquire Keith if the Hawks make him available. Those teams are the Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche and Florida Panthers.

The Blackhawks would love to get a first round pick for Keith but with his age and salary, he would likely get a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

  1. What are they (Blackhawks) waiting for? Trade Keith ASAP.. he can’t skate anymore, avoids contact (players & puck) at all costs & and leads the team in turnovers… Put the koolaid down & let the kids play!

  2. Brent Seabrook retired from hockey after 15 seasons in the nhl Duncan Keith is the last Blackhawks defenseman at age 37 should Florida Colorado Boston should be interested in 3 time Stanley Cup Champion Duncan Keith who’s been in Chicago for 16 years
