My Prediction & Betting Insight
Betting Odds:
- Moneyline: Carolina -130
- Over/Under: 5.5
My Pick:
I’m leaning toward Carolina Hurricanes 3, New York Rangers 2. Despite Carolina’s recent struggles, they’ve dominated the Rangers in recent matchups, winning 6 of the last 7. Even with Pyotr Kochetkov making his first start of the season, Carolina’s defense should hold strong. The Rangers are improving, but their scoring depth is still inconsistent. I’d take Carolina on the moneyline and lean Under 5.5, especially with Shesterkin in net for New York.
