With the NHL Rumors mill busy right now with Jack Eichel trade talk and having the Anaheim Ducks in the mix along with the Vegas Golden Knights and Calgary Flames. What can’t be lost is the Ducks are in a rebuild mode and will also look to trade some veteran pieces as the season moves along.

The Fourth Period reports the Ducks will look to trade forward Rickard Rakell along with defencemen Hampus Lindholm and Josh Manson who are all in the final year of their respective contracts and can become unrestricted free agents in July 2022.

Neither Lindholm nor Rakell own any no-trade protection, while Manson has a 12-team trade list as part of his contract.

Things could change for the Ducks on who they decide to trade if they do land Jack Eichel, but right now, the Ducks are looking to stock pile draft picks and prospects for the future.
