The Philadelphia Flyers are in rebuild mode and they have let teams know Carter Hart is available for the right price. Hart would be a great fit for an Ottawa Senators team who are looking to be a playoff contenders next year.

The problem with acquiring Hart this offseason is the price. Flyers management will be asking a lot for Hart who is only 24 years old and makes a very affordable $3.979 million.

The Sens are likely giving up a first round pick and a top prospect to acquire a franchise goalie.

Hart was drafted 48th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2nd round of the 2016 NHL entry draft. Currently over a career that spans 5 seasons, he has a total of 201 games played and 14 playoff games played.
