If the Montreal Canadiens do not match the Jesperi Kotkaniemi offer sheet, do they trade for Christian Dvorak?

NHL Rumors earlier this month had the Arizona Coyotes shopping Christian Dvorak. The Coyotes are going in a full rebuild and are looking to add draft picks and top prospects for the future.

Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports if the Montreal Canadiens do not match the Jesperi Kotkaniemi offer sheet could GM Marc Bergevin look to shed some of acquired draft picks to trade for Coyotes centre Christian Dvorak?

Engels went on to say, Dvorak, 25, is a six-foot, 200-pound, two-way centre who’s produced half a point per game over his 300-plus in this league makes him a good fit. Having him for four more seasons at a very digestible $4.45-million cap hit is appealing, too.

Elliotte Friedman earlier this offseason reported that the San Jose Sharks, Calgary Flames, Minnesota Wild and New York Rangers also had interest in Dvorak.
