The Latest NHL rumors on Willy have the Seattle Kraken interested in making a trade for Nylander. There have also been suggestions that Leafs management buyout John Tavares to have the money to re-sign Nylander.
Will William Nylander be traded to the Seattle Kraken?
The Seattle Kraken have been looking for a player with offense and making a trade for William Nylander does make sense. They also have the salary cap space to take on Nylander’s contract this year and his new deal for the coming years.
It has been suggested that the Kraken would offer up a package that contains Shane Wright. Another proposal have the Kraken offering defenseman Vince Dunn, forward Eeli Tolvanen and a first round pick for Nylander.
What are NHL fans saying about a William Nylander trade to Seattle?
I would take Shane Wright one-for-one for Nylander. The core four have to be broken up and Nylander is the odd man out.
I can’t see Wright becoming a top line player. He has too much hype to his name. If we trade Nylander to Seattle it better be for a different package than Wright.
The Leafs actually need Wright and his entry level contract. Toronto needs to shed salary, even if Wright only becomes a 3rd line player, the trade does make sense.
If you could get done staying right in the first I would trade him so fast if you like you were in last place he he held the leaves up once before and now he’s going to play his game again did he score 40 goals yes he did but he’s not the best defensive player I ever seen did he come through in a pinch yes he did I’m not saying he’s the worst hockey player out there but these other players could grow into some dandies and I think they should do it that’s why it’s my decision but the thing is is Carlson if for any lander is not worth the Toronto Maple Leafs time of day 5 years ago if Carlson was at age and then we lander is now sure but no go for the other three and do the trade now have a good day
