James Reimer

The Fourth Period: The Montreal Canadiens are looking to add a top-six forward to their roster by the March 2 NHL trade deadline and appear to be eyeing Antoine Vermette of the Arizona Coyotes. The Habs sent three members of their management and scouting staff to Toronto for the Coyotes game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Minnesota Wild GM Chuck Fletcher is still searching for a goalie and he is eyeing the Toronto Maple Leafs James Reimer.  The Maple Leafs are willing to move Reimer, as well as several other players, as they look to retool for next season.

Will Edmonton Oilers d-man Andrew Ference be traded? The Los Angeles Kings, Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins are among the teams looking for a defenseman with his attributes, and could knock on Oilers GM Craig MacTavish’s door if Ference is indeed available.

  1. I don’t think the maple leafs should trade james reimer because he is a good goalie and he could be a even better goalie in a few years so if james reimer becomes a amazing goalie in a few years the leafs won’t have to go through no truble to get him and is the leafs see this make sure Reimer dose to because I do think that he could be the next carry price in a few years and I belive that.he should be a starter goalie in Toronto because bernier is playing really bad and they need to realize that reimer could be a starter goalie
