Ryan Dzingel NHL Rumors January 13, 2019
The Ottawa Senators are looking to trade Ryan Dzingel.

Will the Ottawa Senators trade Ryan Dzingel?

The Ottawa Sun: Bruce Garioch reports the Ottawa Senators want to re-sign forwards Matt Duchene and Mark Stone and would like to trade
Ryan Dzingel.

Garioch states there is no shortage of interest in Dzingel because teams love players who possess speed and he has been opportunistic around the net with 17 goals this season thus far.

The issue is that Dzingel, 26, has gone long stretches without scoring and can’t always be counted on to go to the net. Either way, it appears the Senators are ready to make a trade.

Latest LA Kings trade rumors

Ottawa Sun: Bruce Garioch is also reporting LA Kings GM Rob Blake is busy working the phones.

While the Kings don’t want to move star defenceman Drew Doughty, captain Anze Kopitar or goalie Jonathan Quick, they’ve been labelled by league executives as a team that’s “open for business.”

The word is Blake is listening on forwards Ilya Kovalchuk, Dustin Brown, Jeff Carter, Tyler Toffoli, Carl Hagelin, Nate Thompson, and Kyle Clifford. If that’s enough to talk about, defencemen Alec Martinez and Jake Muzzin are also believed to be available.

Not all players mentioned above will be traded as some have contracts that will make it difficult to trade them. Muzzin, Toffoli and Clifford are the likely candidates to be traded by the Kings.
