Detroit Free Press: The Detroit Wings are eager to add a top-four defenseman who shoots right, and to get someone of quality – like Buffalo’s Tyler Myers. The Red Wings would have to part with Tomas Tatar and defenseman Jakub Kindl (who doesn’t seem to have a future in Detroit), along with a second-round draft pick.
The Fourth Period: New Jersey Devils GM Lou Lamoriello has several players on expiring contracts, all of whom could be dealt by the NHL Trade Deadline. It’s believed the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens could have interest in Jaromir Jagr, as all three teams expressed interest in him in the past.
The Score: Buffalo Sabres general manager Tim Murray is insisting that he isn’t active in trade talks involving his two netminders Jhonas Enroth and Michal Neuvirth at this point.
