Ottawa Sun: Ottawa Senators defenseman Patrick Wiercioch could be on the trade block. Wiercioch was a healthy sractch multiple times last year and the Sens have a plethera of defenseman.

“You can worry about it, but it’s not going to do much good for you,” he said Wednesday at Sensplex. “We’re realistic of the business, and we kind of know what we’re in for. Unless you have a no-movement clause, you’re in play. That’s just the way it is. You’ve got to see if you do get traded, it’s an opportunity, another team wants you. There’s just a lot of great fans here in Ottawa, and my wife and I really enjoy it here.

Pro Hockey Talk: Columbus Blue Jackets young star center Ryan Johansen has 2 and 4-year proposals on table. There has not been much communication between two sides lately. Johansen, 22 scored 33 goals with 30 assists in 82 games for the Blue Jackets last season.

TSN.ca: The Philadelphia Flyers agreed to terms with centre Ryan White on a one-year, two-way contract. White played in 52 games last season registering two goals and four assists with 50 penalty minutes with the Habs.
