Will the Colorado Avalanche trade Nathan MacKinnon?

The Hockey News: The Colorado Avalanche could listen to offers for Nathan MacKinnon. Some pro scouts believe they’ll entertain trade proposals for everyone but rookie winger Mikko Rantanen. The Avalanche will likely seek a top young defenseman, a first-round pick, a top prospect for MacKinnon.

Winnipeg Jets likely to trade for or sign a goalie this summer

Winnipeg Sun: The Winnipeg Jets could pursue an established starter such as Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury or try to find a young goalie on the verge of breaking out. If the Jets go the free agent route, Los Angeles Kings netminder Ben Bishop could be on the Jets’ radar, but they’ll have competition from other clubs and he will seek a lucrative new deal. Other options could include Chicago’s Scott Darling and Ottawa’s Mike Condon.

Will Jonathan Drouin be traded?

Tampa Bay Times: The Tampa Bay Lightning have limited salary-cap space, and likely can afford to only sign two of the three restricted free agent forwards consisting of Tyler Johnson, Ondrej Palat and Jonathan Drouin. The odd man out seems to be Drouin. Drouin was part of a package offer to the St. Louis Blues for defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk before he was dealt to the Washington Capitals. Teams such as the Blues and Nashville Predators kicked the tires on Drouin prior to this year’s NHL trade deadline.
