Spectors Hockey: The Montreal Canadiens are interested in Jordan Eberle. The Habs could offer up Alexei Emelin and a center to Edmonton for Eberle. Spector suggests it would take Alex Galchenyuk for a trade to happen.

The Fourth Period: Buffalo Sabres GM Tim Murray appears ready to make a trade to ship upcoming free agent Chris Stewart out of town. The one issue is the asking price is too high! The Boston Bruins, Ottawa Senators, Calgary Flames and Los Angeles Kings have all shown interest in Stewart.
Yeah the Habs will trade Galchenyuk and Emelin for Yakapov. Are you guys serious? OF COURSE that would be enough to get the deal done for Edmonton, unless Pit offered up a Dman and threw Crosby in to seal the deal. Galchenyuk is not Crosby but he is better than Yak so why would Mtl trade the superior player and Emelin?
