The Hockey News: Just because Jake Gardiner and James Reimer are signed doesn’t take them off the trade market. Reimer will still likely be traded and Gardiner’s new contract does not have a no trade clause. If he struggles this season he could be moved.

Edmonton Journal: What would it cost the Edmonton Oilers to make a trade for Montreal Candiens defenseman P.K. Subban? Something built around Jordan Eberle and Justin Schultz should be an easy decision for Edmonton; So too would a deal involving Schultz, Nail Yakupov and, say, the 2015 first round pick.

NBC Sports: Torey Krug and Reilly Smith are looking for news contracts from the Boston Bruins. Neither Krug nor Smith have full restricted free-agent rights; instead, they’re entry-level restricted free agents. They can’t sign any offer sheets this summer, can’t move to any other teams, don’t have any arbitration rights. They will be looking at signing bridge contracts.
